Step 1: Open the correct Canva template

Choose the template that matches your gazebo size and panel. Each template shows red trim, and green safe zone. Keep all key text and logos inside the safe zone.

Notes: Allow at least 20–30 mm seam allowance around panel edges. Do not place thin borders along edges. If your artwork repeats on multiple sides, design one panel, then duplicate and rename it to match the panel letters shown in the template (A, B, C, D).

Step 2: Customise your design in Canva

• Add text: Use the Text tab to add headings and pricing. For outdoor readability, aim for valance text ≥ 100 mm high and roof text ≥ 150 mm high at full size.
• Upload logos: Go to Uploads → Upload files. Vector files (PDF, AI, SVG, EPS) give the cleanest result at print size.
• Upload images: Use high resolution photos. Aim for effective 150–300 ppi at full size.
• Add elements: Shapes, lines, and frames help structure your layout. Use guides to align items across repeated panels.
• Use brand colours: Enter exact HEX values for consistent colour. Solid backgrounds and strong contrast improve visibility outdoors.
• Keep clear of seams: Keep all important content at least 30 mm away from stitch lines, hems, and zips.
• Repeat branding: Duplicate your key logo and message on all four valances and opposite roof panels so your brand is visible from every direction.
• Walls layout tips: Leave space for zips and ties near edges. Keep windows and doors free of critical artwork. Use lighter backgrounds for interior facing walls.

Step 3: Export and share

1. In Canva, click Share (top right) → Download.
2. Select PDF Print. Tick Crop marks and bleed.
3. File naming: Brand_GazeboSize_Panel (for example: ACME_3x3_RoofA.pdf).
4. To collaborate: click Share → enter gazebos.co.nz@gmail.com and set permission to Edit.
5. Include your order number, gazebo size, and the list of panels when you share.
