Common Terms

Gazebos.co.nz, also referred to as we or us, means the owner of the website gazebos.co.nz. You means the customer who purchases products or services from us.

Return to Base Warranty

Gazebos.co.nz warrants that our gazebo frames, canopies, walls and accessories are free from defects in material and workmanship and conform to our specifications. If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at our discretion. This is a return to base warranty, which means the product must be returned to us for assessment and service. The warranty is subject to the limitations below.

Limitations and Exclusions

Pop up gazebos are temporary shade structures. Outdoor use exposes fabric and hardware to wind, rain, sun and general wear. The following are not covered by warranty:

  • Damage caused by wind or storms, or failure to correctly anchor or weight the gazebo
  • Misuse, neglect, improper assembly or accidental damage
  • Unauthorised modification or use outside normal conditions
  • Normal fading, stretching or abrasion of fabric
  • Corrosion from coastal or chemical exposure
  • Damage from heat sources such as heaters or cooking equipment

Using the gazebo unattended, leaving it up overnight, or using it in unsafe weather conditions is at your own risk and is not covered.

Repair and Replacement within Warranty

To make a warranty claim, email clear photos and a description of the issue, including your order number. We will assess the photos and may request the product be returned for inspection. After assessment we will advise whether repair or replacement will be provided. Consumables and fair wear and tear are excluded.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability arising from any product or service will not exceed the price paid for that product or order. We are not liable for loss of business, event costs, or any consequential or incidental damages.

Colour Match for Printing

Exact colour matching on fabric cannot be guaranteed due to print processes, fabric texture and lighting. Reasonable variation should be expected. If precise colour is required, provide Pantone PMS codes and request a paid colour proof. Without PMS codes we will print to the supplied artwork in CMYK and aim to minimise colour differences.

Artwork Files for Printing

You are responsible for supplying correct print ready files. Follow our artwork guidelines for scale, bleed, safe areas and resolution. Convert all text to outlines and embed images. Provide files in CMYK to reduce colour shift. We are not responsible for errors present in supplied artwork or for results from low resolution or RGB files.

Copyright and Ownership

By supplying artwork you confirm you own the rights to use it and you grant us permission to reproduce it for your order. Gazebos.co.nz owns the copyright to any designs, layouts or templates we create. Unless you request otherwise in writing, we may display photos of finished products in our gallery or marketing.

Cancellation Policy

Orders for custom printed items cannot be cancelled once production has started. For stock hardware orders that have not yet been dispatched, cancellation may be approved at our discretion and may incur a restocking and administration fee. If there is a problem with your order, notify us within five working days with a detailed photo and description. Refunds are not offered for change of mind, however reprints or repairs may be considered where appropriate.
